Why does Context matter? Context impacts your leadership in a number of ways. The context that you were raised in, both historical and personal, shape who you are as a person and the type of leader you are. The wider context in which your organisation operates includes the political, social, historical and economic issues, which resonate within the workplace.

Why should you attend? To deepen your understanding of 'the context' as a resource, and apply ‘contextual leadership’ techniques that enhance your leadership practice.

What can you expect to learn? The learning outcomes are to:

• Articulate what is meant by context in systems thinking

• Discern the context from the perspective of person, history and organisation

• Identify how the context, past, present and future, can be used as a resource

• Apply contextual tools to enhance your leadership practice
